American Education Programs was founded in 2010 by husband and wife team Ed and Abby Prince. Their extensive experience as educators, homestay hosts and coordinators, and entrepreneurs allows them to provide all the necessary elements to serve the needs of students, parents, and schools. The program is unique, and is tailored to the needs of each student and his or her family. 

Abby Prince

Abby is an experienced high school science teacher and business owner. She is a graduate of Stern College, and holds an MBA in Marketing from the City University of New York. With Ed, she is the father of three grown children, and has been a homestay parent for many years. Abby knows how to work with parents, students, and schools to make homestay a special experience. 

Ed Prince

Ed has worked as a school administrator and AP History teacher, as well as an educational consultant. A graduate of Columbia University, he holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from Rutgers University. He has served as a consultant in the not-for-profit sector, working with schools and organizations to maximize their achievements. With Abby, he is the father of three grown children, and has been a homestay parent for many years.
